Out of Body is a 24-minute documentary based on the lives of transgender individuals spread across California. During my final year at University of California, Santa Barbara, I got involved in a small documentary crew who traveled across the California coast telling queer stories surrounding the LGBTQ+ community.

 

The director, Emma Jean, was inspired by her own father's experience and led the story across a wider cast. I was the camera operator and director of photography during those 6 months that we traveled to San Diego, Palm Springs and San Francisco in 2019.
